OMG. You would think that after 328 of freedom the craves would not be so strong. But they are for me at this moment. Takes a deep breath.........OKAY, I was hit with a huge crave yesterday that followed me into my dreams last night...I dreamed that I bought apack of cigs and smoked three. All of my friends and family was so disappointed but I just kept on smoking. UGH. I woke up from this smokemare so happy that this was a dream. Today, I had a brief thought of smoking but I reminded myself that I don't do that anymore and got busy washing dishes as a distraction........
I think the cause of my smoking dreams was the fact that I saw several people standing outside of our hotel during the Thanksgiving holidays smoking...and I told my husband...I'm glad that is not me out there in the freezing cold with icecicles hanging from the bushes freezing my azz off trying to get my fix. OMG, it's been months since I've thought or dreamed about smoking and I just hate it when I do. Has anyone else experienced this? Anyway my vent is over and I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family.
