First I want to tell you about my new avatar! It is the county courthouse located in my small town. Only 2-3 blocks away from home. I can see the top of it from my house! It is very beautiful, all LED lights since last year! BF and I walked up to see them light it Friday night!

Something made us sick the whole rest of the weekend, I am still feeling quite queasy, now! I will not smoke over it though!

My family is very dysfunctional! So I don't get to see anyone including my 4 year old Grandson! I will not smoke over it though!

My BF and I are having differences all the time. I have been ready to through in the towel a couple of times! I will not smoke over it though!

I am starting to go through many of the firsts, that Dale tells us about! But I am prepared! and I will not smoke over any of it!

I am still experiencing weight issues, but I am working on that! I will not smoke over it!

I have an AA family and I have an EX Family, I will be fine! I am at 147  DOF now, so I am more comfortable in my own skin! I am taking care of myself and eating as right as I can! I still get very sad. I have a psych.appt. finally on Wednesday the 2nd! I will keep you posted!

Everyone protect your quits! I know that many of you are having tough and sad times! Hang in there. It's well worth it! If you are going through a rough patch, distract and move on to somehing else. I know easier said than done, but just do it! IT WORKS!

I WILL NOT SMOKE!   PROTECT YOUR QUIT!  have a very nice day! and keep praying for our dear sweet, Ellen! I hear she is still in alot of pain!

Have a great day! xoxo  Terrie

BTW! I had blood testing done last week and the blood condition I had due to smoking has now normalized!!  YEAH!

I stopped making excuses! How about you?

Hello, I am a 59 year old female, name Terrie, still growing up. I have moderate COPD. I am an oxygen patient, currently not in need of the 24/7 or night time oxygen. Thanks to all the great support and education I got here on EX. My original quit date was 07/06/15 on day 519 I relapsed and started over in less than 24 hours. I want to go to the great beyond being a former smoker and I shall! COPD is not choosy! and not pretty! May 1rst, 2017 I am using Dale's suggestion to put off a cigarette each time and I am down from 50 to 20. I am looking forward to my old(7-6-2015)/new quit date 7-6-2017 May 4th, 2017 I started with Marlboro reds. Nicotine is a very assinine addiction. Once addicted I found I would smoke any of it including the little cigar/cigarettes, and it's still true since I threw away my quit and stopped being true to myself. I will smoke ANYTHING with nicotine in it to get the fix. I hate smoking! I am not having a problem stopping it's staying stopped, that I am not doing! I do not buy anything but regular tobacco but if caught without it I will do anything except vape to get the fix. UPDATE POSTED 04/24/2018: Getting ready to set a quit date and begin again :)
