I thought about you guys the WHOLE time!   It was my plan to stay connected with the site over the weekend, but as luch would have it, it didn't work out that way.

It was a real struggle from the moment I opened my eyes on Saturday morning.   I woke up to NO CABLE, NO INTERNET AND NO PHONE (because it's all connected!)   Plan A was already down the tubes!   I had forgotten to charge my cell...  OOOH THE FRUSTRATION...I wanted one so bad.   I made up my mind to buy some.

The plan was to wash my face and go to the store, but I kept putting if off for a few more minutes.  So got to the bathroom and insstead of just washing my face I stepped into the shower, then I jumped into some jeans and into my car.  I was going to the store, but i drove past it.   I picked up my mom took her to breakfast and stayed with her for a few hours...   I don't smoke around my mother.   When I got home, still no cable I used my cell to call and was on hold forever...  My friend was having a birthday party, but I knew I could not go.  Even though she doesn't smoke or allow smoking in her home, I just didn't trust that I could drink yet.  So turned on the radio and started cleaning and I didn't quit until my house phone rang, my phone, my cable and my internet was back on!   A friend called me for a ride, so I did that, when I got home it was getting dark.

I played Candy Crush and Spades on my IPad with the TV on for background noise until I fell asleep..

Sunday, I played music while I moved my winter/summer clothes around, did laundry. Next thing I knew it was like 3p.  I'm not saying I didn't think about it.   Hell I thought about it every ten minutes, but I forced it out of my head and kept moving.  MY HOUSE IS REALLY REALLY CLEAN!  I could not stop eating, I had caramel cake chocolate fudge cake, several bags of microwave popcorn, lots of water and chewing gum.   Churches Chicken, I drove a long way to get that.  I haven't had Church's for years!

I couldn't wait until I Monday to tell you all that I made it, but the Chicago Cubs had me working really hard these last couple of days and I didn't have the time to chat.

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE PATS ON MY BACK, YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

Quitting is hard, but there's no pain... its a constant struggle with my brain.   This may sound funny, but I feel like I'm being tested and if I can maintain this control, something good is going to happen.

I noticed that I'm coughfing a lot.  Is that part of the withdrawl?   Gotta go!   Love this site!
