A Quick Hello

I have a 6 a.m. appointment with my neurologist tomorrow and I'll have to be up by no later than 4:15, so I am already 15 minutes late for bed.  But I haven't been on for a few days and I wanted to say hi.  I had my second interview this morning with the other company, and I believe it went very well, but I don't county any chickens before the offer letter is in my hands.  So I'm still posting my resume and talking to potential employers.

I leave tomorrow for Pittsburgh for my reunion, and I'll return next week on Wednesday.  It will be good time to spend with my sister and I am really excited to see people I knew when I was 5 years old!!!  Old boyfriends!!!  BFFs!!!  Rivals!!!  Now we're all in our mid sixties, and just happy to be together.

So I probably won't be on here for a while, but I promise to guard my quit and to help my sister to quit as she can.  I suspect it will be a pretty long blog when I get home!!

In the meantime, to all the newcomers -- read the Allen Carr book and spend as much time on EX and whyquit.com as possible.  The more you educate yourself the better your quit will be.  Read the Elders' blogs.  Be willing to go through what it takes to get to the other side.

And to my friends in this community -- I love you all and will "see" you when I get back next week.
