My horn doesn't work

It’s probably a good thing that my horn decided to die yesterday.  I came out of the store and put my few groceries into the trunk of the car after dealing with ridiculous crowds because there is an uncertain forecast.  I just wanted to go home.  I started to drive forward because there was a car behind me trying to get into my parking space.  The space ahead of me was empty so I figured that would be great, I could just drive away.  There was a woman putting her groceries into her SUV parked parallel to the space I needed to drive through, no problem UNTIL she decided that she could not survive one more second without a cigarette.  She came forward just as I was starting to move and she opened her car door and lit a cigarette.  I figured, oh well, she needed her fix but when she was on her FOURTH drag, I realized that she didn’t even know I was there.  I tried to honk a couple of times but no sound came out, I pushed down and still no sound came out.  It didn’t kill me to wait and the fact is that she is killing herself and she is so caught up in the addiction that she does not even see what is going on around her. It could happen to any addict. SO glad I don't do that anymore.
