Feeling Happy!

It is truly so nice to see so many new people here!  And some that have been around a while and restarting!  I am sometimes envious of the ones who are the "HAPPY" quitters.  I wish that I could say that I have always been a happy quitter.  Even though I was happy that I quit, I still had my share of ups and downs.  I can honesty say now, that I am a happy quitter.  Does that mean that I am always happy?  Heck no!  I still have my share of stress, and I am sure I always will to some degree.  But I do know that smoking will not relieve this stress in any way, shape, or form.  It would only add to it.  Hang in there Newbies!  That light you see at the end of the tunnel represents FREEDOM!  And that is a very "HAPPY" feeling!

I am a 63 year old single woman. I quit smoking at 55 and my only regret is that I did not quit sooner. Freedom from cigarettes is truly a wonderful feeling!
