Change Is In The Air

We had a major announcement at work today - the leader of our small work force is retiring.  I was offered her job.  Along with this offer, comes a boost in salary and benefits.  We will discuss this further on Friday and I will give them my decision at that time.  This is both exciing and scary.  I think that the change will be a good one.  We will see.  I am glad that this is happening now rather than a year ago because one year ago I was in a very different place.  I am ready for the challenge!  Thanks to all of you for helping me get to this very special place in my quit!

I am a 63 year old single woman. I quit smoking at 55 and my only regret is that I did not quit sooner. Freedom from cigarettes is truly a wonderful feeling!
