Update on thank you blog from yesterday

You continue to amaze me with your support and love and prayers, please know how much I appreciate each one of you.   We are taking our daughter to the train to go back to NYC and these days have been so full that I do not have time to say thank you as I should to each one of you individually.

I got a call this morning and my VQ scan is tomorrow, following a chest xray, I have no idea how long it takes and neither did the nurse who called me so I will call the radiology department, I did read on line to let them know if you are claustrophobic and I am the MOST claustrophobic person I know.  My appointment with the thoracic surgeon is Sept 9th which just happens to be my birthday so maybe that's a GOOD thing, I really hope so.  My sister said SHE had her entire lower lobe removed and it was done microscopically, had she not had an allergic reaction to talc (which I should not need), she would not have had a difficult recovery and would not have ended up in ICU.

Keep the prayers coming, PLEASE.  Tomorrow is VQ scan, Friday is echocardiogram and then I have the weekend before I work again on Monday and Tuesday.  In the meantime, I am trying to deal with the contractor and the insurance company. I HATE insurance companies.

Love you all.

Ellen
