Thank you for all of the prayers and messages and love sent. This was a week of many trials and my reserves were simply not enough. My granddaughter is feeling better, she will see her primary care physician later this week, there is a concern that she may have RA like her grandmother and her mother but I am hoping they are wrong. She is not vomiting any more, she is not running a fever, some blood work has yet to come back, she tires easily and hates to admit it. We all remember being 17 when we knew nothing could really hurt us.
My shoulder that I dropped the shower head on is less swollen, still sore but nothing like it was, I return to work tomorrow so that should really be good for distracting me.
I am grieving the loss of my friend but I am grateful that she no longer has to suffer, she had been through a lot in the past few years. I will miss her and I am only one of many, many people.
Again, thank you for all of your love and your prayers, I had the low dose CT scan to see if I have any early signs of lung cancer or any other issues, I should get the results later this week. I need to know the enemy...I will need scans on an annual basis or more frequently depending upon what they find. The entire procedure takes under a minute and is completely unimpressive.
Please know that your prayers and your love were and are deeply appreciated. Special thanks to Terri, DJ, Dale, Thomas, and Nancy Youngatheart. I am SO GLAD I do not smoke, I would feel as though I was beating my head against the wall.
Love and hugs,
Ellen
