When I joined EX, I had no idea how long I would need to (or want to) participate in this community. Well, I have now found my answer : 531 days.
Our “house of personalities” is divided against itself. We are polarized by the most basic principles of an honest recovery, and our domestic squabbles only confound the obvious truth. Somehow, addiction became debatable here, and our conflicting viewpoints spark as much anger as answers. For me, I will say that these divisive clashes no longer nourish my Quit.
If there is life after EX, then my time for it has now fully come.
To the kindred souls here who genuinely helped me save myself, I say : “ Thank you! My convictions are calling on me to leave this place behind, but I will carry with me the truth of our integrity.”
