Weird in between place I never thought I'd be. (There's a reason for everything)

This is such a surreal experience. I read all the posts with the number of quit days or days of freedom. It is wonderful to be able to count them. 4 years ago and change, our little group of close to the same time quitters rejoiced together as we went throught NML and passed milestone after milestone. I quit on March 13, 2011 and never looked back until about 12 days ago when I did a stupid, almost unbelievable thing and smoked one pack and part of another. When the horror of the next morning hit me, I threw them away and contacted my quit buddy, froguelady,(Betty) and jumped back on here. I had cancelled my page for some unknown reason.

I guess I thought I COULD NEVER GO BACK, no chance that a cigarette would ever touch my lips. Guess what gang, when Nancy says on Fridays, don't drink, she's not just whistling dixie. Too many drinks and your resolve flies right out the window.

Anyhow, I'm a nonsmoker and have been for these 4 plus years. A nonsmoker in mind, heart and spirit. I can't start counting again. Some may think I should. But I'm here to help in any way I can. So when the train comes, I won't list my days, but I will gladly celebrate yours. I remember and must NEVER EVER FORGET!
