Hi Friends,

I am still here and a nonsmoker! 100 days free from nicotine!

I apologize for my absence and lack of comments and congrats to my fellow community members; my Kindle broke, the husband takes the laptop to work, and I think I am one of the last humans on planet Earth to not have internet access on my phone. Aside from that, I have been busy with back to back stomach viruses, a walking pnemonia, and my parents are getting a messy, ugly divorce. And never once did I let myself believe that smoking would "help" with the stress. Because I hate smoking. I dont want to smoke. I dont do that anymore. NOPE is my only hope.

Wow, 100 days, What a trip. I will always remember the fear and excitment in deciding that I was done smoking. I knew the day was coming, and then, bam, it was time. I "tried" not to smoke...and did at 9 am. And then again at 1pm. I knew right then that my quit was not as strong as I thought. I stumbled upon this website, red some blogs and books, and set forth. 100 days later, still have the same feelings of knowing that I am a junkie for nicotine, and I can never have "just one". "Just one" means I will be smoking for the rest of my life.

eX community, without you, I am sure that my quit would have faultered many times. You all give me the strength, knowledge, support, and love to go forward every day and live life freely, instead of planning how to fit my next cigarette into my life. I cannot say this enough. Please know how much you all have touched my soul and forever changed my life and that of my little family.

I hope to get some kind of stable internet stuff going on here, but until then - NOPE and hugs and an infinite amount of thanks 😄       ~Kerrie, 100DOF
