I did not go to the doctor today because my temperature is down.  I do feel as though a truck hit me but much of the swelling and joint pain have reduced.  I wanted to say thank you to all of you who took the time to send me healing thoughts and prayers and let you know that THEY WORKED!  I have done this so many times in the past that I am pretty used to the scenario.

My landlady is pushing for a six month lease and the insurance company, which is paying our rent says they will only do three months.  She also wants an additional $100 a month in rent.  We paid for a rider on our policy which we have had for nearly 20 years for Alternative Living Expenses, it is supposed to cover $62,000 in expenses.  Our rent currently is $600 a month.  We are now caught between the landlady (my son’s mother in law) and the insurance company.  If they cannot come to an agreement, we have to move by July 30th.  The insurance company said they will find us a place with a three month lease, ground floor that accepts pets.  That is NOT going to happen.  Rents around here are closer to $1100 a month, it’s a college town, they just pack a bunch of students into a place and everyone pays a portion.  The insurance company does not want to deal with her.  I am about ready to scream, I did not want to live here in the first place.  Now the adjuster says he will call me by the end of this week or the beginning of next week and let me know what they have been able to negotiate.  He does not know that I know the landlady, I wish I DIDN’T.  I KNEW this was a mistake from the beginning, I would have really liked to have been wrong.

Thank you all for your support and your love and prayers.  I really do feel SO MUCH better.
