OK, first things first: NOPE!
Remember when I was sharing that to get this far in the quit, I had to give myself some slack, let the "to-do's" add up? And I told you that my backyard had become a field?? Well, last weekend I got almost the whole yard done, front back and sides. But weedeater ran out of string and this one area in the back was so tall that I couldn't mow it. So there is a patch of very tall grass about 4 ft by 4 ft in my backyard. This morning, I see a rabbit come under neighbors fence and very deliberately, with intention, head to the "thicket". so before I left for work, I checked it out. YEP, teeny tiny still naked baby rabbits!!! in a fur lined hole, covered by grass that mama must have chewed down. Being a nature lover, this is a DREAM for me!! to host a momma and her babies!!! Yay me!!! And it all happened because I chose my quit over mowing!!!
I am going to trim some more of the outer edge of the "thicket" but there will be a section that won't come down until momma and the babies move away!
