Thank you all for writing on my one-year celebration blog.  I still get a "rush" by reading these comments.  It really means so much to me.  I cried "happy" tears when I read G's blog that I had been added to the Elders List - words cannot describe how that feels.

I also cried "sad" tears when I read Linda's blog about her slip this past week-end.  This should be a reminder to all, new and old, that we are all at risk and should protect our quit at all times.  Never, never, never take lightly youngatheart's advise each Friday to watch our alcohol consumption.  We are all addicts, just one puff away from a relapse (Pop's words not mine).

On a lighter note, I had a very good day.  I had Mexican for lunch - grilled chicken, my favorite. Didn't worry about carbs or calories at all, I just enjoyed my lunch.  After work, I got FINGER NAILS!  And they look fantastic.  Red, of course!

I am a 63 year old single woman. I quit smoking at 55 and my only regret is that I did not quit sooner. Freedom from cigarettes is truly a wonderful feeling!
