Today is day 12. I got on the scale today and have gained 6 pounds! I know that weight gain is a normal issue with quitting smoking, but I really didn't realize that I had been over doing it with food. My coworker brings me my chocolate ration each day, and that I feel completely ok with eating. I have been eating slightly larger meals, but didn't realize I had gone that overboard with it. Luckily it is warming up this time of year so it will be easy to get out and go for walks and such. I know that a few extra pounds is a lot healthier for me than smoking is, but it is still tough when you gain weight. Anyone happen to have any grand ideas on a good way to try to keep myself in line?
