Thanks everyone for your continued support. I don't often entertain thoughts of smoking anymore, and on the off chance the thought comes into my head I just laugh it off, as I have been taught to do by the wonderful people on this site. You couldn't have a better defense against smoking than the people here. If you are struggling, read the blogs every day (it only takes a few minutes a day). There is much wisdom and experience here, and I have learned over the years how to maintain a rock-solid quit. I had very little knowledge when I started, but I have learned a great deal from the people here. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. I can never repay what you have given me. I took my freedom back, and I'm keeping it! : )

I quit smoking on March 26th, 2009. I smoked a pack a day for 25 years. I quit because I began having health issues in my early 40's. I had a TIA and a stroke a few years ago. I work as a home delivery salesperson.
