Non-smoker for 6 weeks! Having a change in my attitude about cigarettes and quitting sure has made a difference compared to my past quits I have tried. This quit is not about trying to quit, this quit is my quit. The urges, the cravings are so easy to deal with, in the past quits it was a struggle. In past quits I tried so hard to ignore the cravings, the urges, the voices that tried to talk you into why you should have a smoke until I finally broke down and had that cigarette. On this quit, I am able to talk to the "nicotene monster" and I personally like talking to the nicotene monster some of the times, other times I don't want to be bothered and just tell the nicotene monster "I don't smoke so go away and leave me alone" and so the nicotene monster leaves me alone. These urges only happened on just a few occasions and don't last very long at all.

I am enjoying my quit.
Discomfort from urges/cravings is not pain. Pain is cancer, heart disease, lung disease.

Enjoy your day and don't forget to keep on moving! Have a walk today.
