Old Man Winter (Kicking us when we're down)

I did not smoke over it all winter. I'm a big fan of the AHA Moments. I was thankful for them many times while shoveling, clearing roof tops, Chipping Ice and etc.

It occured to me on numerous occasions, I needed to rest and warm up but I did not need a cigarette break. It felt good to just rest and warm up with tea, coco , coffee or water. I functioned so much better because I know what would have happened if I still smoked.

I would have come in for a cigarette break, and after 3 or 4 cigarettes probably would have decided I was too tired to go back out and finish. That did not happen this year. Dales post a couple days ago about acceptance and willingness is the trick if you can recognize it when it happens to you.

Cherish those AHA moments They will build and build if you let them. (Make a choice, romance the cigarette or romance the aha moments) Just saying.
