Feeling squirrelly

Okay.  So I have been off cigarettes for 13 days, using Chantix for almost 21 days.  I have been allowing myself 1-2 cigs a day as Chantix said was okay.  Well, actually it said you could continue to smoke from day 8 to day 35 on Chantix.  So from day 8 to now I have been having one or two a day.  I feel like I am doing really well!  The cravings are not as bad as they were at first. So...having made this decision, I also decided that after 2 weeks of allowing the cigs that I would stop all tobacco tomorrow on the 14th day quit.  I feel kind of anxious about it.  I promise myself and you all that I will get all the tobacco out of the house.  Remove all rolling papers etc. that I have been using for the 1-2 rollies a day.  If it is out of here, I am not going out in the damn 5* weather to get cigarettes!  Besides, I don't do that anymore, right?

I love the freedom of driving past a gas station knowing I don't have to spend another $14 for those horrid things.  That I don't have to leave dinner and stand outside the restaurant in the incredible cold weather and smoke while missing the juiciest (no doubt) bits of conversation.  I love not being a slave to smoking after every task I accomplish!  And man...am I getting stuff done!  It is awesome.

So tomorrow is the total quit day!  I am exicited!  Wish me strength to make it happen.

Thanks for being there for me.  Not sure how the friend thing works.  Can someone explain that to me?

Lisa
