Wonderful Eventful Marvelous Week end

This past week end my oldest son and his wife renewed their wedding vows.  It was a bit over the top but it was beautiful.  You would have thought it was the first wedding for both of them... WAY over the top... When they decided to do this, some of their freinds got excited and apparently don't have a lot to do.  Unity candles, 3 attendants each, long train on an ivory - brown and purple gown... The rehersal dinner was 3 hours..

That was Saturday.  On Sunday, I went to another wedding and it was the sweetest event I have ever been too.  My 83 year old aunt (who has been a widow for about 30 years) got married.  She is about 4 foot 2 and a fiesty little thing.  Words can't express how truly awesome this day was.  They even planned a trip toNiagra Falls for their honeymoon.  Not sure if they have left yet because of the storm in the Northeast, but they will.

Now as if that wasn't enought excitment for one weekend.  Saturday was my 11 month anniversay of being smoke free.

Just about a perfect week end.... then on Monday I put in for a day of vacation (first of the year we work 10 hour days 6 days a week) as I am through with workpapers and W-2's have been mailed.  When I realized I have 6 days to take before my anniversay or I will loose them.

So now I have every Friday off beginning tomorrow through the end of February, with one Monday.  4 day weeks - 3 day weekends... life is good...

I hope you all are having a wonderful week.. please don't smoke... if you do look at all the ways you can find to quit.. if you have quit, dont' give up... it is worth it.

I was smoking 3 packs a day the day I put them down.  I used patches, and Zyban for the first month.  Then I was on my own.

XOXOXOXO

About the Author
I am retired from accounting, a grandmother to 13, mother to 4. I quit smoking 3 years ago for 1 1/2 years but started again. I have now quit. I love to play on my laptop, work in my garden, visit friends, and have church activities. I am relatively healthy for an old woman and hope I have many years left to aggravate my children.
