Strange Thought

Very gloomy day here in Arkansas.  Light rain all day.  I decided to get out for a bit because I have been alone in my apartment for 2 days now and the walls were starting to close in.  I went shopping for bargains--one of my favorite activities.  My last stop, I walked out of a shoe store and there was a young man "enjoying a smoke".  I looked.  I walked to my car and "looked again".  I loaded my purchase in the trunk and a thought ran thru my mind - "Would he sell me one smoke for a buck or two?"  Where the hell did this come from?  I got in my car and drove home - all is well - Thank you all - many times the only thing that keeps me safe is the fear of having to confess - lol

I am a 63 year old single woman. I quit smoking at 55 and my only regret is that I did not quit sooner. Freedom from cigarettes is truly a wonderful feeling!
