Four months of "CHOICE"

End of last Aug., Storm inspired me with a blog about choice. That has been my mantra. I like the feeling of control that it gives. It also has been most helpful with the stress and anxiety issues.

I have had the laser procedures on my eyes to prevent closure of drainage channels in my eyes. Closure of the channels can lead to sudden acute gaucoma and possibly blindness. The other reason for the procedure was to be able to use anti anxiety medication as they are contraindicated (along with many other meds) with narrow angles in the eyes. Through working with the counselor, I am at the point I don't need anti anxiety meds but continue to use mindfulness and staying in the moment.

Maggie is a little love. Still skiddery at times but I think she has finally adopted us! No problems from her pit bull attack. The owner relinquished rights as he didn't want to pay the $2,000-$3,000 to try and get them back. The county is going to request the courts to ban him from owning dogs.

Will have 9 grandchildren here on Christmas!! Food and jobs all being parceled out. I will do the meat and supervise!!

Here's to beautiful day of choice!!! Have a wonderful smoke free day.
