Unfortunately I am in this beautiful city of San Fran and I'm to sick to enjoy all of it. But the good news is I am almost done with my treatments yeah! It is towards the end of the treatments you really get the side effects, and I have been so blessed with them. The great news is I saw my Opthamologist/Oncologist today for a check-up and he was sooo pleased with my progress. I will finish treatment, heal from that and in February go in for the final MRI to make sure all the cancer is gone--I know it is.... I have been so pleased with this hospital and all their staff.... As far as I'm concerned UCSF is the BEST!

As for the smoking, I still smell cigarette smoke and yes it does smell good for a minute, but then it starts to smell bad for me. I am still not smoking and REALLY happy that I am an Ex-smoker. It feels good to breath deep, and walk up a steep hill and breath hard--still not in shape--and not have that dry hacky cough.. I cannot believe I used to smoke 2 packs a day. Wow! But not anymore.... Thanks to all of you for support on my cancer and my quit. You're all wonderful.....

You'll be hearing from me before Christmas, but just in case, Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year......

Katie
