Quitting smoking is not about will power.

It's not about fighting this supposedly-constant battle with yourself about whether you should smoke or not.

Quitting is about deciding what you want, and then not going back to the other side of the equation NO MATTER WHAT.

Decide that the quit is what you want, and hold to that conviction. No matter what your body may be telling you, your mind is in charge. Just remember that your mind said NO, and you need to stick to that no matter how you feel.

Do not do this alone. Come here for support.

We can help you through it.

I quit smoking on March 26th, 2009. I smoked a pack a day for 25 years. I quit because I began having health issues in my early 40's. I had a TIA and a stroke a few years ago. I work as a home delivery salesperson.
