Wow day 1. Im having a hard time deciding if im going to use nicotine gum or smoke aids or just go cold turkey. The hardest part after 23.5 hours is the almost instictual inclination to go out and have a smoke. I had to toss my lighters and ditch all of it. I have realized I am powerless over cigarettes and Im grateful to have a foundation of a higher power to reach out to during this. Im on this website because nobody at works gives a S&%^ if I quit or not. Im lucky to have read the book quitting the EASYWAY by Allen Carr it was very positive, like I should say "THANK GOD I ESCAPED SMOKING IM SO GLAD I NEVER HAVE TO SMOKE AGAIN" That type of positive mentality helps, but not for the instinctual junk I already mentioned. Lost like a 29 yr old little boy. Thanks for listening. Any good ideas would be helpful, like sitting in traffic and imagining all the other people are your favorite local sports team fans, in my case SUPERBOWL champ seahawks fans. Any good info or tidbits of wisdom would be fantastic and It would probably help with the isolation type feelings.

Thanks

Chad Morehouse
