Update on what is left of my life

To those of you who have sent money via PayPal…please know how grateful I am and that I will try to thank each of you individually as my mind clears.  Right now, we have to get the things out of the yard that were thrown from the windows.  It is going to rain for the next two days and we need to at least try to salvage what is left.

We laid our cats to rest in the back yard, two were frost covered from the freezer at the SPCA,  one, my “baby” had no frost on him and had put his “hands” over his face like he was sleeping.  He looked like he was sleeping. I kissed him and held him and I swear that I would have breathed my life into him if I could have.  My heart hurts so much.  People have dropped off clothes that are so generous but I am pretty small and size 12 pants can be put on and off without unzipping or unbuttoning.  I am HOPING that some of my jeans survived….the clothing that was stored in the bottom drawers or cabinets smells horrible but may be able to be saved…we will spend a lot of time at the Laundromat.  The motel machine is very small and incredibly expensive.  Mike washed some last night.  We got about 3 hours of sleep.  At least some things do not smell so bad.

Again, my heartfelt thanks to all of you for your love, your support, your kind words.  Somewhere inside of all of this, Ellen is still there, I just cannot find her right now.  I have to go get shoes today, I have none but the ones I was wearing at work and while they are comfortable, I need to be able to change.  My exercise bike and my weight are gone, along with my Shakeweight, that probably sounds ridiculous but it actually screws up my “routine.”  I will have to see what I can replace without spending much.  I am sick over losing my bike…

I love you all with all that is left of me…all of my heart.

Ellen
