Just wanted to share this picture a friend of mine took in their back yard.  It is quite impressive!  I have made it 189 days - and I really cannot believe it.  I must say that I really cannot imagine even holding one in my hand.  I do still have occasional "urges" but they are very short lived.  To everyone just beginning the journey, believe me when I say that it gets better.  The key, in my opinion, is keeping a positive attitude.  Do not look at it like you are giving something up or that you are missing out on something, rather look at all you are gaining by not smoking.  I rewarded myself today by ordering a new comforter set with matching sheets!  This will go nicely in my new never-smoked-in bedroom.  Hope that everyone has a great day!

I am a 63 year old single woman. I quit smoking at 55 and my only regret is that I did not quit sooner. Freedom from cigarettes is truly a wonderful feeling!
