Thank you all for the words of encouragement!

I've changed my quit date to today. Smoked my last cigarette last night, and no sense going out and buying more if I keep my quit date at 11/01, right? LOL

I'm doing good so far, no cravings, but I really didn't smoke all that much during the day as it was. Since I work mostly evenings/late night, I know that's when the cravings will hit.  I never smoked in my apartment so I really have no obvious triggers (i.e. smoking while on the computer, etc) but since moving here, I did start smoking in my car so I'm going to go spray it down with some febreeze.

Almost everyone I know at work smokes, and being that I'm they're supervisor, and they come to me for their smoke breaks, well this is going to be hard for me. I've already warned them that I was quitting and even tried to encourage them to quit with me. Thank goodness I'm off work today so I can get one day under my belt!

Oh, and I've got my "stop smoking can" ready to go. I figure I'll put what I would normally spend on cigarettes in there, and save up to buy myself something nice 🙂 Ok, sounds good in theory! Maybe I'll just throw a dollar in everytime I've conquered a craving 🙂

Have a great day everyone!

Sheri
