No Sweat....

Wow, it's amazing how much of a difference you can make in yourself just by thinking positive thoughts.  Instead of thinking oh, I can't do this (quit day is Saturday), and thinking about all the negative things associated with it, I have chosen to get excited about the positives of not smoking.

I can't wait to spray perfume on myself and actually smell like perfume. My hair will smell like my shampoo, not like smoke. Foods will taste so much better, and I won't have to wash my hands and brush my teeth so often. I won't have that dry, hacky cough anymore, and I will be able to breath, and sing and possibly give up my asthma inhalers.... I've only had asthma since I have smoked (4 years). Yeah!

I have also decided to hang out with my non-smoker friends more the next couple of weeks and a decrease in time with my smoker friends. I know they will understand...... When I quit this time--It's for good, no more slip up..... I will never take another puff again....

Tomorrow, I have a lot to do--cut up carrots, celery, peppers and other vegies to snack on....Make sure my big ashtray is thrown away, and my outside garbage is taken out and clean of any butts or cigarrettes. Come Saturday Morning, you won't even know there was a smoker that lived here. Katie the Ex-smoker will emerge.....
