Newbie

Hello Everyone, Itallian Stallion here, really i'm only half italian, but figured it'd be a good symbol for my determination.  I've been smoking for 15+ years.  I have a lovely and very supportive wife, and two young boys.  As you can imagine, the family is a huge motivator, plus i'm tired of being a slave.  I've broken so many promises to myself and my wife that i am NERVOUS about this quit, excited as well. 

Einstein said the definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over again expecting different results.  So this community is my something different.  I've always tried to do it on my own with the will power thing, and i tried Chantix once, but got cocky, and that one puff.....

My other different thing is I'm reading the Easy Way to Stop Smoking and working on getting my head around the addiction.  My quit date is October 26th.

I've been pleasantly surprised with those of you that have already reached out to me, and encouraged me, so thanks!  What else?  Great to be here and look forward to getting to know y'all, (i live in north carolina).
