Stopping by to say hello

Hello,  its been awhile, I passed my second year mark in August, but I just couldn't celebrate it, too much has happened and it just didn't matter anymore.   I don't really think about smoking anymore,  occasionally, a memory floats around.  Anyone who remembers me here (and I see a lot of new people here, great), know what has happened in my life the last year and how difficult it has been for me.  We all go through things, especially the death of a loved one, but that doesn't make it easier when it happens to you, we get past it, we live with it, we go on and if we can do that without the aid of something awful , smoking, drinking, drugs, over eating, things we do to kill the pain we feel, if we can do it without these things, we hopefully will be ok, sometimes we do need a little something to help us sleep, herbal teas are good, sometimes we do need meds to help us, that is ok, as long as a doctor is monitoring your meds, also in times of dire stress we need to have a general checkup at the doctors, high blood pressure is something we need to watch out for, which I recently found out I have, now have to take meds for that and the doc gave me some meds to help keep me calm, Its a light dosage and I don't use it much at all, afraid I will become addicted, thats all I need, lol.

I wish all the new people I see here strength.  Its takes a lot of strength to keep from smoking, in the end its only you.  As for all the other things that happen in our lives, the only choice is to go on because the alternative isn't very appealing.

Until next time
