since i have quit smoking i notice more than i used to... im not so me centered..
.for example
today i was talking to a homeless guy and he told me about mini libraries that have opened up on a street in my city...i didnt know what he was talking about... so he explained to me.... the old coin operated newspaper machines that the local newspaper used to be sold in they are no longer refilled due to people damaging them and stealing the newpaper... stores sell the newspaper inside now so someone puts books in there.. and they are not locked... you can take books out and leave the ones you are through reading... what a great idea... there are alot of homeless people that dont have tvs so whats wrong with giving them something to read...free of charge.. he was showing me a book about indians...and it was really interesting...someone is addressing one of our communities needs... in a very discreet way... must be an angel
