Day 122

You would think that by now that i would be over this - but not really.  I can say that I am not going to smoke but I cannot say that the temptation is totally gone.  My neighbor has a sister who is visiting from Minnesota.  They invited me last night to eat dinner with them.  The sister announced that she had bought a pack of smokes even though she does not even smoke.  She is one of those that can smoke one occasionally.  She was not aware of my history and really meant me no harm but i have had temptations ever since.

Also I have connected to my first cousin on my Father's side thru Facebook. She found me there.  I have never married so my name has not changed. My father died when I was very young and I never knew his side of the family.  She gave me her telephone number.  I really want to call her but I am a little nervous about it.

I know these are small things in comparison to other people problems, but I just wanted to talk it out.  You guys are great, thanks for listening.

I am a 63 year old single woman. I quit smoking at 55 and my only regret is that I did not quit sooner. Freedom from cigarettes is truly a wonderful feeling!
