And so I dance

~~And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.~~  Nietzche

I dance.  To everything from the Tennessee Waltz with a friend to The Wheels on the Bus with my grandchildren.  I dance down aisle 11 in Wal-Mart every time we go down aisle 11.  I dance into my office, up to the doors of the people I serve.

I have a friend who can't dance.  She has been in a wheelchair for 10+ years now.  Her greatest wish is to be able to dance with her son one more time.  It will be a miracle if she can.....but I firmly believe in miracles 🙂

I don't ever want to regret that I missed an opportunity to dance.  I don't ever want to regret that I missed an opportunity to........

-make someone smile

-sing my favorite songs

-laugh

-feel happiness

-love someone

450 days ago, I changed my life.  I quit smoking.  By doing that, I gave myself more opportunities to do the things I love.  I don't regret quitting and I refuse to regret not taking the time to do the things that make me happy.

So how much time do you take to do the things you love to do?  Please don't take them for granted.  You have the ability to create a life you love.....a life you are happy in.....a life where you can dance or sing or paint or love whenever you have the opportunity to.  Take it!!  Its so worth the effort.

Love yourself, love your life, and be grateful for all you have.  It's a wonderful life!

May you find peace and joy in today and always,

Sheri
