Had a great start to my day--drank my coffee, read the blogs, and then rode 45 minutes on my stationary bike while reading a large print book I got at the library the other day.
Then I went to the dentist. This was a new dentist for me and one of only two dental offices in town that take my insurance. Everyone there was really nice. Got the x-rays and the exam done. Then the dentist told me what she thought needed to be done--and I was told it would be $945 in addition to what the insurance pays. Well, that is impossible for me. The most urgent thing is that I need four fillings. I will have to do one a month in order to be able to cover the copays. Some of the other stuff I might not be able to do at all. I want to take good care of my dental health, but even with the insurance I can't do everything. So frustrating! Also, since I don't know this dentist, I worry that they want to do extra stuff to run up the bill. But just like with a car mechanic, one is at their mercy.
Been having more craves the last two days, especially today anticipating the dental visit and after I got home. Ate lunch and took a nap. The craves have settled down.
Been reading the blogs again. That always helps me.
I hope everyone has a good rest of their day!
