& who you are 🙂 hello everyone , those who know me know me well & those who dont can read all about me in my profile , for the newbies , life gets better within your quit , urges get weaker & less life is good and greener on that other side & remember your in control ..Just remember where smoking took or will take you and its no place good !!! a 40 yr smoker 3.1/2 yrs quit & 2 yrs lung transplant 🙂 Im going strong living breathing and loving it 🙂
Went to Houston in july , did a transplant games of america, it was 40 states & it was the most compititive event i ever did in my whole life , I meet other recipients donor families living donors , it was just the best experience to happen tome 🙂 I did all track & feild , coming from a person who couldnt even take 3 steps on oxygen 24/7 thats a huge lmao so let me tell you alil about it , I did run of 100 meter i came in 4th out of 8 I was the oldest in my age group , I was also the only lung tx in that group so I did great and ran it in 22.10 sec.. woohoo I did shot put diskit which i never did b4 LMAO soft ball throw long jump so i won 2 medals there a bronze for long jump I jumped over 5 feet 🙂 diskit silver I threw 36 feet 🙂 and i was on the basket ball team we came in 3rd in the championship game so we got a bronze for that too & one for a 5k ..
I accomplished another goal 🙂 My lung capasity was 14 with mobility and 15 sitting down , today 71 .. Fight to live & succeeding the most wonderful feeling so far , all tho they say 5 yrs for lung tx I say 5 yrs is more then i wouldve had but i plan on being here 20 yrs 18 to go LMAO
BE STRONG AND COMITT TO YOUR QUIT .. LIKE IS TO GOOD TO BLOW IT UP IN SMOKE 🙂 jUST FOR TODAY I WILL NOT SMOKE .. KEEP SAYING IT AND NEVER GIVE YOUR SELF PERMISSION NO EXCUSE IT WORTH DYING FOR .. jOANNE ((AKA JOJO )) LMAO
