Thank you all for weighing in!

Yes I will give it time - hopefully the mouth sores will go away soon, they kinda feel a bit better already. The reason why I'm pretty sure it's not from the e-cig is that I've used the e-cig much, much more previously while also smoking normal cigs when I tried to switch from normal cigs to the e-cig, and I had no sores whatsoever. Couldn't make the switch so I dumped the e-cig and stuck to regular cigs. On upside, from that helpful list Moore reposted - thanks! - I don't have acne, cough, etc.

As to depression, I don't have depression because I am taking a prescription antidepressant full-strength (Zyban) - which is the only reason I think I can quit; the only time I quit before I had depression for months - like 4-6, rather bad depression too, and I could never go through that again.

The unnamed sadness remains tho - it's like, nostalgia: I am missing something and when I realize what it is, I'm like - oh OK... pity. For now I am dealing with shopping therapy - which is why I haven't seen any financial benefits yet lol, but I do have some new pretty things 🙂

Hopefully I can wean slowly off of it or I'll have to start smoking again to keep a roof over my head lol, my finances are not gruesome but not that great either - and I swear I spent less when I smoked despite the small fortune I paid on cigs every month. I hope it a passing phase tho - like the mouth sores 🙂

On to other subjects, about as painful - how much weight u gained when u quit smoking? I am already 2 lbs in 2 weeks - and that while not eating much - mostly from the drop in my metabolism from quitting nicotine.

The other time I quit I gained 18 lbs - I hope I don't reach or top that record again lol because I am already plump - that extra weight might do me more harm than smoking in the long run.
