Working Day 9 now.....

Not to long before this, when I was trying to get a quit going, and having to deal with not getting it to stick....

My husband said, "Until all of these studies are done, I don't think you'll be able to quit.....wait until you are done"..... I knew he meant well, because he hated seeing me torture myself....quit, fall, quit, fall....

But then it would be something else, no doubt, of course there will be.....it is called life....

The beginnings of serious talks.....they wouldn't last long at first, he had to 'let the dogs out'--'get a glass of ice tea'--'check the mail'......LOLOL ......SO, NOBODY CAN FAULT ME FOR THE 'HEAD-LOCK' MANEUVER, RIGHT?

Point is that outside of certain hard situations.....NOW, is actually a good time to quit.  I'm not going to find it easier next Wednesday, or over the holidays, etc....I personally hate it on anyday, so why not today....

I got sick recently and couldn't exercise.....bummer, maybe I should smoke 'cause it didn't go as planned? Nope, all of the elders words are in my head.....and I'm going to deal with it as they have taught me to...

It's getting better, althou there are many rough moments, what is getting better is that I don't want to lose the time invested.....be it 9 days...

Quitting (smoking-me//chewing-him) was my idea.....but, we were talking the other day and he said that if I fell he would still try to hold onto his quit.....that he wants to make a go of this.....I find that so cool.....so, 9 days ago must have been the 'right' time to quit : )
