Remember the TV show Room 222?

For any who are too young to know about it, it was in the late 1960's & starred Karen Valentine.

I can relate to that room, as today marks 222 days being free & smelling good! I continue to have surges of waves of wanting to smoke (usually when I am bored). The psychological urge even tends to feel physical at times. I just ignore it & move forward, keeping busy & a lot of self-talk. I keep reminding myself of all the great beefits that have come from my quit (& my husbands quit too~he's at 16 months!!) Our son & his wife overseas would never have asked us to come over & stay for 6 months to help care for our 7 yr old grandson & our soon-to-be-born granddaughter if we were still smoking! They detest smoking & would not want us there for that long if we continued with that disgusting addition. We leave in Dec. of this year & are so excited! I now look forward to day 223!
