Hello all. Just stopping in to say hi. I'm working my quit and just trying to add more quality to my days instead of only counting them. I wasn't able to keep the perfect start/quit but I'm ok with that. I will keep walking to my goal of being free. Wanted to share a story that has given me more incentive. Yesterday my little Abby dog had to go to Vet because of a bad cough related to her congestive/enlarged heart issues. They suspect bronchitis or pleurisy . So we got all manner of fancy meds. But I told Doc there were no smokers around. She said she knew that because she can always smell it on the animals. Then when I got a copy of her report I almost started crying because there was a note "No smokers in the home". The interesting thing is I only adopted Abby recently - about the same time as I quit! I already had fallen in love with her before I found out she had the health problems (of course lol). But she is a senior girl at 10 years. Despite her issues she still runs and scampers and has a great time. Anyway Abby is a great incentive to stay on the wagon. Don't want this pooch breathing bad air. Like I just told you Chey, I do not understand how a body can stil crave something so disgusting even after we've experienced the stench and awful taste. And yes after the nicotine has left the body. !!!  My hat (and Heart)  is truly off to all of you successful long time EXers. Looking forward to still joining those ranks!!!!
