I cannot express how wonderful you all made me feel with all of your cards and messages.
when I was so sick  My bulletin board at the rehab center was full to overflowing, and it made my day to hear from you while I was going through it all (all the other patients and my visitors were SO jealous!)

The folks at the rehab center told my daughters I would not be able to come home and would have to go  into assisted living.  My daughters said, "You don't know my Mom!"   I am on the mend, but still very weak.  I have a PT coming to my house twice a week, and am up to a 20 minute walk outside with only a cane (and him at my side!).  I guess I am doing well - but it can never be fast enough for me.

I am going to try and be on the board more, but I may be limited in the time.  Please forgive me if I don't get to comment on all the blogs just yet!

Again, thank you all, so much!

Nancy

I smoked until a vascular surgeon informed me of the damage I had done to myself by doing so. I quit 11 years ago, and I can swim laps virtually FOREVER now, walk most other days 40 minutes to an hour and a half. What a difference quitting has made in my life! I strive to help others find this wonderful freedom from addiction, too.
