Dear sweet family,
I feel selfish writing this knowing that many on this magical special site have much greater health concerns than what I have recently experienced but on the other hand, I did want to check in and let everyone know why I have been so absent this summer.
Frankly, I haven’t felt all that great for a good part of the summer and the doctors are tinkering with some of my medications to try to resolve that. But on a more serious note, several weeks ago I contracted a severe virus which kept me hospitalized for 4 days with very high fever and stomach issues. Since being released from the hospital I continue to feel weak and fatigued. It is most definitely taking me more time than I could have imagined to get my feet back under me. I feel like everything is in slow motion and even simple tasks like trips to the grocery store wear me out.
I wanted to let you all know this because there are so many wonderful posts to my page from this beautiful family and I am sorry I haven’t responded to those meaningful messages in awhile, but honestly I am just trying to get through the days right now one at a time and get to feeling better. Please know I love you guys and am grateful for you and this blessed site. I am so proud to be approaching 500 days with your support. Couldn’t do it without you. That’s for sure. Thank you for the continued support. Hope everyone is having a blessed, safe, fun-filled summer.
