Still Smoke Free and Oh So Happy

I haven't been on here blogging for some time.  I do come in here some times and just ready everyone's blogs.  It has been 17 and a half months since I quit.  I still every once in a great while have an urge to smoke, but it is so slight, I just stop and chuckle to myself and it's over.  I think it is at this point just a stroll down memory lane about times I used to smoke.

I am still so glad I quit!  I will never regret it.  I remember when I first quit, I thought i would just die without my trusty friend, the cigarette.  Guess what, it is such a good feeling knowing you don't havae to go there.

Enough about me haha.  All I can say is it really does get better with time.  I know I heard that a million times when I was first starting my quit.  But, guess what...everyone was right.

Congrats to all with your quit!

My quit began in 2013 after 44 years smoking. I retired from Law Enforcement in 2017 after 27 years. Loving my retirement and being smoke free!
