When restaurants open up, they have a soft opening. They prepare for it, they get almost everything ready, but they leave a short time before the "GRAND OPENING" where the world will know that where once stood an empty, dusty, run-down building is now a thriving, healthy, breathing locale...
Yesterday, I had a successful soft opening.
Today, business is booming! I can't really say I have much of a headache, and my neck isn't overly stiff. I had been anxious about my drive to work, (my personal "triggers" minefield), and wanted to be on the phone with my girlfriend as I drove to work for distraction. So she passed out on me (I worked really early today), but it wasn't awful. That was my worst urge so far, and it worked out okay. As an added bonus, she feels badly about it, so I have leverage next time she doesn't want to do something that I do, lol.
Can anyone tell me how you all have your quit date next to your names? It seems fitting to add now.
Take care, all of you,
Paul
