Well yesterday I went to see the Orthopedic.  I have arthritis, in both knees, spurs on both knee caps, and lots of fluid on my right knee.  Caused from all of the above and made worse from the injury and not taking care of my leg.

So he says get ready and he drained 2 1/2 viles fo fluid off my knee.  Then he shoots my knee up with numbing stuff, and cortizone.

I took the day off and went home.  Propped up my leg and did nothing.  It is so much better today, I can lift and bend it some.  It is not well, but better.

So my plans are my big comfy chair a good book and some nap time for the next three days, so that I can rest this leg and it can get well.

He says I am not a candidate for knee replacement at this time, and may never need that surgery.  For an old woman I am relatively healthy. (The second doctor this year to tell me that).

Enough about that here are my stats:

Free and Healing for Two Months, Twenty Six Days, 15 Hours and 1 Minute, while extending my life expectancy 16 Days and 17 Hours, by avoiding the use of 4819 nicotine delivery devices that would have cost me $1,197.11.

And Saturday at 8:00 PM I will be 3 months smoke free.

Everybody have a blessed week end and wonderful Memorial Day.

About the Author
I am retired from accounting, a grandmother to 13, mother to 4. I quit smoking 3 years ago for 1 1/2 years but started again. I have now quit. I love to play on my laptop, work in my garden, visit friends, and have church activities. I am relatively healthy for an old woman and hope I have many years left to aggravate my children.
