Share your quitting journey
Lots of new people here, some just to check us out, some looking for a miracle, some committed to stop smoking. And there is so much information, education, encouragement and (yes) even some miracles at the EX..
So, what can you do to increase the conviction to be Forever Quit?
Well, we can read the links about what addiction is. Can create your own list of reasons to quit. Look at posts for the lists of "what to do when....". Read the profiles and old blogs of those that we identify with. Write our blogs and share the stumbles and the victories for the day. Join in with the fun and play that we do here at times. Become part of the prayer chain (if you're so inclined) as people need it. Come here every day, once/twice/multiple times.
AND...... promise/pledge/commit to not smoking for the day! I have said often and truly believe in my heart of hearts that my EX family is a huge reason for my quit. AND the Daily Pledge is a gigantic support in keeping me clean for the day. If I make a promise I will do everything in my power to keep it.
SOOOOOOO......given all of that I will ask, offer, challenge each of you to make the promise on the Daily Pledge page. Do this every day for 1 week and see if it makes a difference for you.
