My Garden

I haven't had much of a garden in 2 or 3 years - i only had a bay tree.  Well, my bay tree died and i got the idea in my head to buy some flowers to start a new garden.  First, i had to clear out my flower bed;  its a big flower bed and it took a while to get out all the sticks and pine cones and straw out of it.

I thought that this new garden would give me something to nurture and care for not to mention having something pretty to look at.  BTW - i have really been stressed out lately and feeling urges to smoke 😞 don't worry, i haven't smoked.  I just needed something to do besides feeling the urges.

So, i got some flowers and got them home and started digging holes to plant them;  it felt so good to dig that hole and put that little flower in there and the stress just lifted off me!  I go outside to see my garden all the time now and i guess its just another way of dealing with all the triggers i have had lately.  I am still smoke free but i just feel like i need something to relax me so i drink tea, thats all.

Its nice that the sun is back too so that the spring could come back and let me garden.

Just some things i wanted to share with you all, Friends.  I still come here because i know how easy it is to start smoking without a support system  in place, with lots of friends.  Thanks for the encouragement thus far  🙂

Love, LIsa
