Goodbye Nicotine!!!

Good morning everyone! I couldn't sleep so thought I'd read some blogs and than write one. Starting my 24th smoke free day and working on being nicotine free. On Thursday after work I took off my nicotine patch and decided to get rid of that thing. Tired of the glue on my arm that doesn't like to come off and tired of the itching. I have a 3 day weekend and everyone told me that 3 days is what I need to become nicotine free so I'm giving it a shot. Yesterday morning I had a lot of trouble with being dizzy, nauseated and feeling just plain crappy. I got some housework done but not the amt of work I am used to doing. That is perfectly okay though as I figured I wouldn't be as productive as I wanted. Later on Friday I wasn't feeling as light headed anymore and didn't feel nauseated either. Although the cravings hit a lot harder all night. Nothing I couldn't handle though. I decided the patch was just prolonging more crappy feelings. I want all this quitting stuff behind me. I'm tired out and feeling depressed this week from fighting the nicotine demon. I won't quit fighting and I will win however the patch seems to drag things on. Getting myself both smoke free and nicotine free seems the best thing for me to do. Other than not being able to sleep and having some cravings I'm doing pretty good. The nicotine demon is going down!  Never did any good nor paid any rent so it needs to move on. No room for it in my body for it anymore. Bye bye nicotine!!!!
