I am a bah humbug kind of gal. I don't know when it started really but I could bypass the holidays entirely. There is so much pressure to be happy and a sappy Hallmark commercial will bring me to tears. So much has happened with my family this year and this first Christmas with my Dad in the nursing home was emotional.
My happy place? I briefly wanted to smoke on Christmas Eve. And I mean briefly. I smelled it on shoppers and people on the street and every time my first thought was "I used to smell that way?!". Ah the sweet happiness of personal success. I might be a bah humbug but I am a smoke free bah humbug!
